The four minute solar eclipse had millions of Texans watching and cash registers ringing! Everything from specialty ‘eclipse’ sunglasses and t-shirts were sold generating an estimated six billion dollars in retail sales.
According to CBS, the next total solar eclipse over the contiguous United States won’t be visible until August 2044. The totality of that eclipse will only occur over North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and northern Canada.
