Today is Reveal Day for ChildSafe’s community-wide Cardboard Kids campaign. As part of April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month, ChildSafe created Cardboard Kids to achieve a new level of awareness of child abuse by “putting a face” on it and engaging the community. The staff at The PM Group and The Wood Agency have done their part by adopting and creating their own Kids. It was fun and more importantly it brings the disturbing issue of child abuse to the public in hopes that we can reduce the rising number of cases locally. If you see a Cardboard Kid around San Antonio on Thursday, April 9, please read the information on the back, then take a picture of the Cardboard Kid and share him or her on your favorite social network with the hashtag #CardboardKidsSA.
