Agency Seizes Gold

Saturday, February 15th, The San Antonio Advertising Federation held their annual award show at the McNay Art Museum. There were hundreds of traditional and interactive pieces, ads, television and radio commercials entered from most of the agencies and design firms in San Antonio. From all those entries awards were given out as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Best of Category and Best of Show. The entries that won a Silver or Gold will advance to the next level of judging and if they win Gold there they will advance to the National Addy Awards.

The PM Group and their sister company, The Wood Agency received a total of 10 awards.

The PM Group, took home two Silver and one Bronze award. The Silver awards were for package design created for the Taco Bell/Fiesta Texas Iron Rattler summer promotion. The package was the Taco 12 pack holder. The other Silver was for a “Brand Bible” that was created for our White Wings client. This Brand Bible was created for the Guenther Client to help everyone internally better understand the White Wings brand and what it stood for. A similar “Bible” was done for the Guenther client “Morrison” and it received a Bronze.

The Wood Agency took home 7 awards. All of these were for the work on the Methodist 50th Anniversary TV campaign that was shot and produced by Sister company Quarter Moon Productions. The awards were: Gold for the :15 oncology spot titled “Not There Anymore”. There were two silvers for the other :15 “No Louder Than A Heartbeat” and the :30 “Can’t Be Complacent”. The final four were bronze – one for the :60 Anthem spot and one for the overall campaign. The final two bronze were for “Experience” & “What If”.
