Every year, The PM Group and The Wood Agency host their annual Saturday Night FUN-Raiser charitable gala. The event brings together some outstanding San Antonio non-profit organizations to benefit from a night of music, food and “fun-raising.” A record $175,000 was raised for this year’s benefiting charities – ChildSafe, San Antonio Pets Alive, San Antonio Youth Educational Scholarship Foundation, UTSA Athletic Foundation, San Antonio Sports Foundation, and Wounded Warriors.
“For the 7th consecutive year we have set a new record from this multi-charity event,” stated PM Group CEO Bob Wills. “I cannot express how appreciative we are for making this event such a great success,” Wills added.
This year’s casino night event was held at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and attended by more than 450 individuals from the San Antonio & South Texas corporate, nonprofit, and social communities.
Kim Abernethy, CEO of ChildSafe, had this to say about this very unique fundraiser……“ChildSafe was honored to be selected as a beneficiary of the charitable fundraiser presented by the PM Group & Wood Agency. This was a fabulous event and our staff and board are so grateful for the gift we received. ChildSafe will be able to provide more than 100 clients a full spectrum of care and services to help them heal from abuse and neglect.”
